Troop 5 Scoutmaster Announcements – Apr 11, 2025

A reminder that we do not have a troop meeting this coming Tuesday, April 15th.

Scouts should bring their backcountry packs for pre-inspection on Tuesday, April 22nd with as much already packed in them as possible. Tents will be distributed at that time. Each scout should plan to carry at least 3 liters of water in a container or bladder that will not slosh around. Any outstanding medical forms (parts A & B) for scouts and adults should be turned in on April 22nd as well.

On Tuesday, April 29th we will hold our swim test at Northside Pool during our usual 6:30pm meeting time. This is required for all scouts and adults to participate in any aquatic activities, including summer camp and any other outings where bodies of water are involved.

The troop is currently planning to participate in Clean the Bay Day on the morning of June 7th. Please mark this on your calendars.

SCUBA outing information for July 8th has been sent out. Please let me know if you have any questions.
