Troop 5 Scoutmaster Announcements – Sep 24, 2024

Our scouts made some delicious eggs, chicken, and rice at the café last night. And learned about meal prep and cleanup too. Thanks to everyone who came out and attended this outing.

This coming Tuesday, October 1st is our open house for all AOL cub scouts (current 5th graders) and other interested youth 11-17 years old. Please help spread the word! So far, we have one AOL den attending, two others interested, and couple others invited. We’ve got lots of room in the social hall so let’s make use of it. The PLC is planning a fun night for everyone that evening.

Additionally, please RSVP for our October camping trip as soon as possible at https://forms.gle/QyE3CsUaj3jBX2wL7. We need to ensure we have sufficient scouts to coordinate activities with the visiting pack(s).

Finally, popcorn fundraising sales continue with more show & sale events this weekend. Please ensure that you are on-time and in full Class A uniform for any shifts that you registered for. Also, please let Shayna know what orders you have made outside of show & sales that you need filled. She goes most Wednesdays to the scout shop to reload our troop supply.
