Troop 5 Scoutmaster Announcements – Oct 22, 2024

Thank you to Connor, Gavin, Mitchel, and Owen who led scouts from Pack 191 in a hike this past Saturday. We also enjoyed participating in a joint campfire program. We look forward to a continued relationship with this nearby Cub Scout pack.

The district is recruiting for Scouts, Venture, and Sea Scouts at a Cub Scout rocket shoot this Saturday, October 26th at Aragona Pembroke Little League. For those not selling popcorn that day, please spread the word and consider staffing the event to connect with local packs. More information here: https://scoutingevent.com/596-88995

A reminder that all popcorn orders and all money owed must be submitted no later than our next troop meeting on Tuesday, October 29th; stock is not guaranteed after that date. We have also added one last show & sale date on November 2nd in conjunction with the church yard sale; some slots remain for that date; please contact Shayna to sign up.

Committee chair Eric Casey is asking all parents to please attend the meeting on November 5th to learn how to recharter your scout for the coming year. There has been an overhaul to the rechartering process and we want all of you to be ready and enabled to take the necessary actions to keep your scouts continuing on their journey.
