NYLT offered this November

For scouts who are First Class and above and have completed Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST), the council is offering National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) over two consecutive weekends in November. This is a fairly significant time commitment because it is a significant training course and achievement. The troop will cover the registration cost for any eligible scout who attends. Regarding the pre-requisite ILST, our troop hosted ILST at our retreat in March and will host ILST again this month (module 1 at Sept 10th meeting, and modules 2 and 3 at Sept 20-22 campout). The only other registration requirement is a current medical form, parts A, B, and C. Full registration information is available at https://scoutingevent.com/596-24NYLT

I participated in the previous version of this course (then known as Junior Leadership Training, or JLT) and found it to be very helpful in teaching me how to lead scouts specifically, and other people generally.
